I’ve been with Foresight Strategy since I graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities
in the spring of 2020. There, I first studied Political Science, but after developing a fascination
with electoral models, I added a second degree in Statistics which led me to the data-driven
work I do today.
Over the years, I’ve worked for a wide variety of projects but have developed a
niche in analyzing historical consumer movements and the behaviors that drive those
movements.
What has been your experience working with Open Arms of Minnesota? Working with
Open Arms of Minnesota has been nothing short of special! The organization does incredible
work providing medically-tailored meals to people who are critically ill, based upon the belief that
food is medicine. Over the past year, we’ve worked with Open Arms to understand historical
volunteer trends and create an annual volunteer survey to track volunteer satisfaction, identify
opportunities to grow & revitalize their volunteer base, and earn accreditation from the Food is
Medicine Coalition. The importance of their work can’t be overstated, and they do it with joy.
Why do you think it’s important for businesses to engage in philanthropy? Supporting our
local community is more important than ever, and businesses have unique opportunities to do
so. Donating your time and money is always powerful, but what is special – that only you or your
business can give? At Foresight, we recognized that the analytical work we do is not typically
accessible to non-profits, so we give our unique skillset. Look around – what can you give back
to your community?
